At Austral, we process Jack Mackerel (Trachurus murphyi , mackerel (Scomber japonicus) , and other species as per their availability. We ensure the highest standards of quality and safety, maintaining the cold chain from catch to delivery at destination.
We have one of the largest and most modern frozen fish plants in Peru, located in Coishco, Ancash, with an operational capacity of 599.45 MT per day. This enables us to serve and market our products locally and internationally.
Moreover, pelagic and other species are caught by our fleet and third-party vessels, both industrial and artisanal, that make up our value chain, thus promoting the strengthening of the local fishing ecosystem.
Our flour and oil products have the Marine Trust certification which guarantees that they come from sustainable marine sources, in addition, they are produced with the highest standards to satisfy the needs of the most demanding customers and markets such as aquaculture, pet food and farm animals.
