Hazte una Pez Program
This program is a platform for welcoming innovation proposals from employees and workers, identifying new ideas in our daily work and opportunities for process improvement. The solutions proposed by our employees and workers are evaluated and implemented when they represent an efficient and effective solution to a previously identified problem. The authors of said proposals receive public recognition and a financial incentive, thus sharing the benefits they have gained from their contributions.u aporte.
Since its launch in 2015, this program has received a total of 146 suggestions. In 2022, 14 suggestions were submitted, of which 5 have been approved and relate to improvements in the areas of energy savings, process optimization and raw material recovery. At the end of 2022, the program has 78 approved suggestions, resulting in an economic benefit of approximately USD 860,000 in the evaluation of the first year of implementation alone, of which USD 23,000 were generated in 2022.
The Hazte una Pez program seeks to:

For us, it is essential to ensure safe and healthy workplaces through our Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) management system. Therefore, we promote a safety culture that extends to our employees, workers, suppliers, and visitors across our operations. As a result, our accident rate for production plants and vessels is 1.92, which is a source of pride in the fishing sector.
Furthermore, we are the first Peruvian fishing company to obtain ISO 45001 certification in all our premises and fishing fleet, reaffirming our commitment to continue performing our work safely, while actively promoting our motto “We are all Safety Leaders”.
Austral has the most important safety index within the fishing sector
For Austral it is also very important to guarantee safe and healthy workplaces through our OHS management system, for this reason we promote a safety culture that extends to our workers, suppliers and visitors in all our operations, achieving by 2023 to be the First Peruvian fishing company to obtain ISO 45001 certification in all our headquarters and fishing fleet.
We carry out our work safely with active participation, having and promoting our motto "We are all Heads of Security". In this sense, we have an accident rate indicator at the level of production plants and fishing vessels that has reached 1.92 due to our OHS management, reaching the most important safety index within the fishing sector.
