Gianfranco Máximo Castagnola Zúñiga

Director

Gianfranco Máximo Castagnola is Chief Executive Officer of APOYO Consultoría and Chairman of AC Capitales SAFI’s Board of Directors. He is also a board member of IKSA (Lima Cargo City), Scotiabank Perú, Saga Falabella, and Nexa Resources. He has been a director of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru and of the Consolidated Reserves Fund, President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce, and a director of various non-profit institutions. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Universidad del Pacífico, and a master’s degree in Public Policy from Harvard University. Gianfranco Castagnola has been a member of Austral’s Board of Directors since April 2005.

María Jesús Hume Hurtado

She is president of the Board of Directors of AFP Integra and Senior Advisor of the bank of Lazard investment, as well as Director of Banco Falabella Perú. She is a member of the Advisory Councils of the Faculties of Management and Senior Management and Performing Arts of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). Likewise, she is president of the Qualifying Board of the Board of Trustees of the Lima Art Museum. She has been a member of the board of directors of various companies in different sectors of the economy and non-profit foundations in Peru and abroad. She was president of ING Bank in Peru and Colombia. She was vice minister in the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Commerce. She has been a member of Austral's Board of Directors since August 2005.

Adriana Carmen Giudice Alva

General manager

General Manager of Austral. She participates as director of the National Fisheries Society, Sustainable Peru, Lima Chamber of Commerce, Nordic Peruvian Chamber. Likewise, she has served as director of the Lima Chamber of Commerce and AMCHAM until May 2024.

She held the position of head of the Cabinet of Advisors of the Office of the Ministry of Fisheries during the period from October 1999 to November 2000. Advisor to the Ministerial Office of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Integration and International Negotiations during the periods from January to September 1999 and from December 2000 to May 2001; director of OSIPTEL from March 1999 to December 2000 and partner at Estudio Muñiz, Ramírez, Pérez-Taiman & Luna-Victoria until August 1998. She was a member of the Commission for the Repression of Unfair Competition and vice president of the Protection Commission to the INDECOPI Consumer.

Lawyer, graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru with studies in the Senior Management Program of the University of Piura. She has been the general manager of Austral since October 2005.

Juan De Dios Arce Vizcarra

Fleet Manager

Labora en Austral desde el año 2001 y ha ocupado diversos cargos, como el Jefe
de Flota Paita, Superintendente de Flota, Superintendente de Operaciones de
Flota y desde abril 2007 ocupa el cargo de Gerente de Flota.


Laboró 29 años en la Marina de Guerra del Perú en diferentes dependencias
desempeñándose como Comandante en Jefe en el Servicio de Salvamento y
Buceo, Dirección Naviera Comercial, Capitanía de Puerto del Callao,
Comandancia de la Base Naval del Callao y otros. Además, ha trabajado en
empresas relacionadas a la inspección, mantenimiento y reparación de balsas
salvavidas y equipos de supervivencia en el mar, como Servimar, Aqualub,
Aquapacific Service.


Graduado en la Escuela Naval del Perú con una Maestría en Dirección Estratégica
de Empresas en la Universidad del Pacífico.

Didier Saplana Piquemal

Chief Operations Officer

Se desempeñó como Gerente de Comercialización hasta el 2013. Luego de esa
fecha, asumió la Gerencia Central de Operaciones que tiene a su cargo
producción, mantenimiento, aseguramiento de la calidad, comercialización,
documentación, proyectos, gestión ambiental y desarrollo de nuevos negocios de
la compañía.


Es actualmente Director de la Sociedad Nacional de Pesquería donde ocupa
también el cargo de Presidente del Comité de Ingredientes Marinos.


Graduado en la Universidad de Burdeos, Francia. Magíster en Economía y
Finanzas Internacionales con amplia experiencia en el área de comercio
internacional. Cuenta también con un MBA en INCAE-Adolfo Ibañez y una
Maestría en Gobierno de Organizaciones de la Universidad de Piura. Ha laborado
en Transamine Francia encargándose del manejo de embarques y financiación de
transacciones de concentrados de cobre y cobre metálico entre América del Sur,
Estados Unidos, Europa y Asia.

Andrew Dark

Gerente de administración y finanzas

Se desempeña como Gerente de Administración y Finanzas desde diciembre de
2012, siendo responsable de las áreas de finanzas, contabilidad, sistemas,
compras y almacenes.


Con amplia experiencia en todas las áreas de finanzas (auditoria, finanzas
corporativas, contabilidad gerencial, contabilidad financiera, adquisiciones y
ventas de negocios, tesorería, sistemas, planificación estratégica, logística y
recursos humanos) en multinacionales como Arthur Andersen, British American
Tobacco, Unilever y Trafigura, en varios países incluyendo Inglaterra, Venezuela,
Argentina, Honduras, El Salvador y Panamá. Anteriormente se desempeñó como
Gerente General en Consorcio Minero S.A. – CORMIN y director en Trafigura en
América Latina.


Graduado en Ciencia de Materiales de la Universidad de Oxford, Inglaterra, y
Contador Público del Instituto de Contadores de Inglaterra y Gales, cuenta con un
Global MBA de doble grado de CENTRUM – Católica y la Universidad de Tulane.
